EOP&S Extended Opportunity Programs and Services
EOP&S is a state-funded program that provides educational and financial support services to eligible students who have economic and educational disadvantages. EOP&S helps eligible students to obtain their educational goal of certificate, degree or transfer by providing additional support through counseling, tutoring, cash financial assistance, including book grants, transfer services, career advisement, and other important types of help.
THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST WAY FOR A STUDENT TO OBTAIN COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL AND RELATIONAL ASSISTANCE FROM THEIR COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
Certain criteria need to be met in order to receive EOP&S services. These include qualifying for a BOGFW Fee Waiver and carrying a minimum of 12 units each fall and spring term for the first year, then 9 units per term thereafer. Go to your community college website or visit the college EOP&S office for additional information and qualification criteria.
